*burp*
So today was a pretty fun day. Went to L.A to visit my friend Jeffy and her sis, Doris. Me and Jeffy went to Venice Beach and jogged...Jeffy has never jogged in her life until today...so we kinda did that whole jog-for-2-minutes-and-walk thing. More walking...than jogging hehehe..still fun regardless. Took crazy silly pictures like usual, went home, hung out with Doris and played the guitar that she got for Jeffy. Then we ate, Jeffy made a killer Creme Brule! and then nap for three hours, played some more guitar, ate again, and then went home....*SIGH* today was a one fun, lazy day *BURP*

May we all be Coffee....
I've read this stories a couple of times actually and I've been meaning to post it somewhere...but I kept forgetting..thanks, Jesus...
A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of
coffee the same way again.
A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how
things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.
Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with
water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word. In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the
carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me what you see."
"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.
Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots.
She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma
The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"
Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same
adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water,
it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened
The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. "Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?
Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but
with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?
Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with
the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough
with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?
Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot
water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity?
Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to
make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along
their way.
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you
can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and
heartaches. When you were born, you w ere crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
May we all be COFFEE.

made my day
so last night, before I went to bed early for work today...my sis had to change my niece's diaper...so she went upstairs to get the diaper while me and my mom were watching Calie...I started singing the regular "Change the Diaper" song that we sing all the time...She did the cutest thing ever!! She crawled down from the sofa, went underneath the sofa, and got a box of baby wipes and the lotion that my sis always puts on her everytime she changes Calie's diaper....C. U. T. E

Happy Turkey Day...
It's been almost a month since I last updated my blog. Been busy with work..one week I was working at least 12 hours a day cuz we had to finish a project...the outcome? We were 4 days late :/ but on the brighter side...the client loves it to the point that they have extended their contract with us and want us (uhm...ahem...me) to design their packaging and booth graphics! WOOT WOOT!
Starting December, we're gonna have at least 3 new clients...so I'm pretty stoked about that...even though we're gonna be hella busy. My Mom is here..she came here yesterday with my sis and niece who were back in Indo for a vacation for 2 months...now that they're back...I get to spend time with them...especially my mom and niece...she's SOOO MUCH SMARTER now, which makes her so much more adorable...I really miss her...she can interact with us way better....*SIGH*...how time goes by so fast....I can't imagine when she'll be a teenager...gosh..
Had a nice Thanksgiving dinner with some of my close friends last night..it was fun..it's nice to keep the tradition going every year...since I've only been a part of their lives for a little more than a year...played Taboo the next day and we had fun..
So that was my Thanksgiving...at least I spent it with the people I love and care about...even though not with all of them...but they're in my heart :)...happy Turkey day y'all...even though I didn't have Turkey at all...oh, and Bong...thank you...for everything...mean it from the bottom of my heart...

Happy Halloween/1st paycheck
So tonight I had to stay til 8:30ish at work just to finish up on some website that was supposedly due today. Fortunately, the client kinda messed up in something too so we kinda had some extra time to work on it. But stayin late wasn't too bad at all...i got to bond with my boss and one of my co-workers. It's actually a lot more fun at night than at day time...when during the day they play some classical musics to set the "professional working" mood, I actually got to listen to Christina's "Ain't no other man" at night...
Not to mention...today is the first day I got my real pay check...my only comment...DAMN YOU FEDERAL PEOPLE THAT TAKES A THIRD OF MY PAYCHECK AWAY!...*sigh* i feel slightly better now...
I was planning to dress up today too..but obviously that didn't happen cuz of the staying at work late...anyways...Happy Halloween...
Oh...and....
***I LOVE YOU, BONG*** I know it's easier said than done...but don't let it ruin your day...just take things one at a time ;) XOXO

FIRST
My first week of my first real job..ever...was good. Learned a lot of things and I can see this continuing til about 3-6 months. I got 45 days worth of production schedules already and I have 3 clients already. FUN! Got my business card too! Still need to get used to the co-workers..I don't think they have opened up fully to me yet and neither do I...that takes time I guess....one thing that I really appreciate more is my jeans, my t-shirts, sandals, sneakers, and..weekends...I miss Bong too. I think it's good for us cuz it gives us a chance to miss each other and look forward to hanging out together more on the weekends...

Not that I'm complaining about having only one week break after my graduation. I just hope that I have at least one day where I can just sit down and breathe...relaxing...just by myself. Sorry for being selfish but I really think that I deserve it. I'm starting my new job tomorrow and I'm excited about it. New Chapter has begun :)
PS: Thanks to those who came to the dinner to celebrate my graduation and me getting a job...even though it's completely last minute...I really appreciate it.

last class
yep..last night was my last class in AI...although I got out of the class at 10 PM...I was tired as hell and wanted to vent to someone...but then I realized, who would wanna hear me venting about my classes? so then I just took a hot-warm-shower...oh well...On a brighter note, I will be done in a week...WHOA...here comes the so called "real world." Not that the world that I lived in for the past 22 years of schooling was "unreal" ...I'm glad I'm not burned out like most of my friends do though...Not to say that I am ready cuz, heck, I know I am not....but at least I am excited...to what it has to offer me. I'm just glad I am feeling positive about this.

Magenta Apple....
Yeah...starting last Monday...ever since one of the hinges on my laptop was broken, my laptop is officially F*CKED UP...the screen is Magenta-ish now...last weekend, I was still able to safe it by tapping the screen and then it went back to normal...but after I brought it home from Nate's on Monday, I did the tapping thing again thinking that it should work....well...it didn't...turned out the Magenta bleeds everywhere...I have my niece as my wall paper and now she looks like she has some skin disease or something....*SIGH*....now I have to go to school to work on my portfolio...I just love it :|
